Glennon W. Behrmann, 79, of Mascoutah, IL, born, March 2, 1929 in St. Louis, MO, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Mr. Behrmann was a retired tool and die maker from Crane Corporation in St. Louis, MO.
He was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church, Mascoutah and a
U. S. Army, Korean War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty E., nee Lipinski, Behrmann, whom he married in St. Louis, MO, Oct. 26, 1957 and who died, May 31, 2006, his parents, George and Mathilda, nee Bielien, Behrmann, three brothers, Raymond, Daniel, and Vernon Behrmann and two sisters, Evelyn Behrmann and Loretta Kaiman.
He is survived by a son, Joseph (Natasha) Behrmann of Sammamish, WA; a granddaughter, Skye Breheny; two sisters, Alvera Bosko of St. Louis, MO and Florence Noto of St. Charles, MO.
Memorials may be made to Holy Childhood Memorial Improvement Fund.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. A prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
