Frank X. Scheiper

Frank X. Scheiper, 91, of St. Libory, IL, born Dec. 8, 1917 in St. Libory, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009 at his residence.


Frank was a retired parts manager from Bergkoetter’s Garage in St. Libory, IL. He was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, a 63 year member of the American Legion Post 683, St. Libory, IL where he held various offices; and the K of C St. Pius X Council 3789, New Athens, IL.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna, nee Sandheinrich, Scheiper; three brothers, Otto, Hugo, and Leo Scheiper; and a sister, Rose Mary Scheiper.


He is survived by three sisters, Clara Dorobarakis of Des Peres, MO, Flora Dambacher of Belleville, IL, and Agnes Kasban of Ashley, IL; a brother, Vernon Scheiper of St. Libory, IL; sister-in-law, Lucinda Scheiper of St. Libory, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Memorials may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice.


Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in St. Libory, IL. A recitation of the rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.


Funeral: a funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009 at St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL with Rev. Dennis Voss officiating. Burial will be in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
