Florence A. Troesser

Florence A. Troesser, nee Jansen, 79, of St. Libory, IL, born Mar. 5, 1929 in St. Libory, IL, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009 at the Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL.


Mrs. Troesser was a homemaker, member of St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL where she was active in church functions, St. Liborius Ladies Sodality, St. Libory American Legion Auxiliary, and an avid quilter and card player.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Troesser whom she married in St. Louis, MO on Oct. 20, 1951 and who died Sept. 13, 1983; her parents, Joseph A. and Rose B., nee Schmidt, Jansen; two brothers, Edwin and Kenneth Jansen; and two sisters, Dorothy Jansen and Elvira Schaab.


She is survived by a son, Richard J. (Gail) Troesser of Plano, TX; three grandchildren, Larry (Amanda) Crittenden of Mineral Wells, TX, Stephanie (Andrew) Seibert of Allen, TX, and Lisa (Byron) Phillips of Plano, TX; six great grandchildren; four brothers, Norbert Jansen of St. Libory, IL, Leroy (Virginia) Jansen of St. Louis, MO, Daniel (Bernadette) Jansen of Okawville, IL, Roger (Patty) Jansen of Belleville, IL; two sisters, Eleanor (Edward) Parker of Hecker, IL, and Rosemary (Andrew) Lintker of Venedy, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Memorials may be made in the form of masses or to St. Liborius Parish Center.


Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in St. Libory, IL. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


Funeral: a funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL with Rev. Dennis Voss officiating. Burial will be in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
