Ronald L. Weeks

Ronald L. Weeks, 76, of Decatur, AL born Aug. 19, 1932 in Blaine, KS, died Monday, June 8, 2009 at his residence.


Ronald was a retired security officer. He was a member of the V.F.W., Decatur, AL, American Legion, Decatur, AL, Eagles, Decatur, AL and D.A.V.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester L. and Elsie B., nee Campbell, Weeks, three brothers, Martin, Frank and Louis Weeks and two sisters, Helen Stumbaugh and Mae Reiling.


He is survived by his twin sister, Ruth Gulley of Belleville, IL, loving friend, Mary Smith Weeks, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald and Leona raised Lindsey Perry since the age of six months.


Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.


Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 7 PM Friday, June 12, 2009 and from 9 to 11 AM Saturday, June 13, at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: a funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Moll Funeral Home with Paul Boyer officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
