Betty A. Green

Betty A. Green, nee Land, 79, of Swansea, IL, born June 25, 1930 in Adams, IN died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.


Mrs. Green was a retired manager of Edison Brothers Shoes inventory department and a member of First Baptist Church in O’Fallon, IL.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin E. Green, Sr. whom she married in Greensburg, IN on June 17, 1950 and who died Jan. 5, 2006, her parents, Thomas and Ruth, nee Campbell, Land and brothers and sisters.


She is survived by three sons, Calvin (Beatriz) Green, Jr. of Panama City, FL, Mark (Marilyn) Green of Swansea, IL, and Edward Green of Aurora, CO; a daughter, Lecia (Jack) Frey of Boyertown, PA; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.


Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, O’Fallon, IL.


Visitation: Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM Friday, Aug. 21, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, Aug. 21, 2009 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL with Pastor Doug Munton officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
