Emery William Caesar, 68, of Okawville, IL, born Feb. 2, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, died Thursday, Apr. 22, 2010 in Lookingglass Township, IL.


Emery was a machinist and currently employed by B & D Machine Co. in Marissa, IL. He was a member of the Mascoutah Moose Lodge #815, and the Machinists Local 353 District 9.


He was preceded in death by a daughter Christine Missey, a son, William Caesar, a grandson, William Missey, and his parents, Elmer A. and Alice I., nee Bechtel, Caesar.


He is survived by his wife, Carleen K., nee Carron, Caesar whom he married in Millstadt, IL on Aug. 8, 1963; a daughter, Kimberly (David) Scales of O’Fallon, IL; son-in-law, Greg Missey of Belleville, IL; three grandchildren, Casey and Carlee Keller, and Timothy Missey; a brother, Farrell (Mary) Caesar of Trenton, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donna (Leonard) Suhre of Alhambra, IL, Esther Price of Belleville, IL, Richard (Debbie) Carron of Norfolk, VA, and Michael (Karen) Carron of Washington, MO; nieces and nephews.


Emery enjoyed farming with his dad and spending time with his family. He brought laughter and sunshine into the lives of the people he touched. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.


Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 PM Sunday, Apr. 25, 2010 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. There will be a Moose Ritual at 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.


Funeral: Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday, Apr. 26, 2010 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL with Jack Spratte and Barbara VanAusdall officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
