Dominic Mamino, 97, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 15, 1912 in Fairmont City, IL, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
Dominic was a retired mixer for General Chemical Company where he worked for 42 years and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sue, nee Cherry, Mamino, his son, Nicholas Mamino, a grandson, Nicholas Mamino II, twin great-great granddaughters, Mackenzie and Makayla Rasch, his parents, Mathew and Dominica, nee Kiri, Mamino, four brothers, Otto, Matt, Joe and Charles Mamino.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Larry) Faitz of Mascoutah, IL; five grandchildren, Kimberly (David) Showalter, Susan (Bret) Rasch, David (Anne) Heilig, Brian Mamino and Randal Mamino; ten great grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Samantha (Jake) Johnson, Bret (Megan) Rasch, Jr., Kyle (Alysha) Rasch, Zach (Erin) Rasch, Brittany Rasch, Heath, Bliss and Hope Mamino and Nicholas Mamino III; two great-great grandchildren, Kaylee and Landon Rasch; three sisters, Dorothy Martz of Fairview Heights, IL, Zell Macke of Belleville, IL and Nell Schultz of Belleville, IL; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 and 7:30 to 10 AM Friday, Aug. 27 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, Aug. 27, 2010 at Moll Funeral Home with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
