Harold E. Keck, 70, of Mascoutah, IL, born May 8, 1940 in Belleville, IL, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 in Shelby County, IL.
Harold was a crew leader for GARDA, an armoured car courier; a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah; former past president and member of the Mascoutah Rotary Club; was an original member of the Championship Black Knights; and a 1958 graduate of Belleville Township High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Pearl, nee Ruckriegel, Keck; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Lorene Tribout.
He is survived by his wife, Judith, nee Tribout, Keck whom he married in Belleville, IL on Nov. 28, 1959; a son, William “Bill” Keck of Mascoutah, IL; two grandchildren, Austin and Kayla Keck of Mascoutah, IL; a brother, Irvin (Helen) Keck of Winston Salem, NC; three nephews and numerous friends.

Visitation: from 2 to 3 PM Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: a memorial service will be held at 3 PM Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at St. John United Church of Christ with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Private burial is in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010.
