Bonnie L. Kohrmann, nee Haas, 55 of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 11, 1955 in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bonnie was a customer service representative for Citizens Bank in Mascoutah, IL and also worked part time for Binsbacher & Griffithe Law Office in Mascoutah. She was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and antique shopping. She was helpful to all and was eager to make friends wherever she went.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Urban M. “Blondie” and Ruth E., nee Koch, Haas; and two nieces, Caylynn Johnston and Dana Litteken.
She is survived by her husband, Eric J. Kohrmann whom she married in Addieville, IL on July 12, 2003; a daughter, Rhea (Andy) Sax of New Baden, IL; four sisters, Patricia (Buster) Williams of Mascoutah, IL, Barbara (Valroy) Binsbacher of Addieville, IL, Mary Beth (Jim) Rudy of Robbinsville, NJ, Peggy Johnston of Clemson, SC; a brother, Marty (Dawn) Haas of Belleville, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Clara Kohrmann of Germantown, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary (Donna) Kohrmann of Phoenix, AZ, Deborah Litteken of Canberra, Australia, and Diane (Tom) Winkeler of Albers, IL; nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and numerous friends.
Memorials may be made to Holy Childhood Catholic School or to BJC Hospice.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 PM Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah. Following the funeral mass, cremation will take place and a private burial will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery in Mascoutah.
