Willetta May Stibal

Willetta May Stibal, nee Clements, 101, of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 20, 1909 in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at the Grange Nursing Home in Mascoutah surrounded by her loving family.


Willetta was a retired supervisor from Country Set Dress Factory in St. Louis; member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah; VFW Auxiliary Post 7682 of Mascoutah; AARP; and Daughters of America Independence #15, St. Louis.


She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Stibal, who she married in Okawville, IL on Mar. 30, 1929, and who died Aug. 16, 1970; her parents, William and Mary, nee Shanahan, Clements; a great-granddaughter, Natasha; a brother and sister-in-law, Ivan and Peggy Clements; a brother-in-law, Fred Haas; four sons-in-law, Roland Bruning, Earl Rudy, Thomas Griffin, Sr., and Daniel Rasch, Sr.


She is survived by five daughters, Willetta Kehrer of Mascoutah, IL, Lois Rasch of Mascoutah, IL, Delores (Paul) Dobbs of Springfield, MO, Janet Griffin of Affton, MO, and Barbara Wheeler of Mascoutah, IL; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; a sister, Eileen Haas of Mascoutah, IL; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 9 PM Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 and from 7:30 to 9:40 AM Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: a funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father Abraham Adejoh officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
