Elizabeth B. Blake

Elizabeth B. Blake, nee Bond, 76, of Mascoutah, IL, born Dec. 3, 1934 in Wilmington, NC, died Monday, Mar. 14, 2011 at St. Paul’s Home in Belleville, IL.


She worked as a secretary in Civil Service for the USAir Force.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton E. and Elene, nee McGirt, Blake.


She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth “Betsy” Blake of Mascoutah, IL; two sons, Alvah Blake III of McKinney, TX, and Clinton Emory (Meff) Blake of Mechanicsburg, VA; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


There are no services and private burial will be in the family cemetery in North Carolina.
