Tobie D. Castle, 67, of Mascoutah, IL, born Oct. 15, 1943 in Paintsville, KY, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Tobie was a retired TSGT from the United States Air Force, and was a Vietnam War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline Castle.
He is survived by his wife, Mary June, nee Fanetti, Castle whom he married in Incirlick, Turkey on Aug. 20, 1972; a son, Tyrone (Sandra) Castle of Fairview Heights, IL; three grandchildren, Casandra, Helen, and Daniel Castle; five brothers, William (Wilma) Castle of Ashland, KY, Lawrence (Sharon) Castle of Paintsville, KY, Bob (Diane) Castle of Lowmansville, KY, Marvin (Debbie) Castle of Paintsville, KY, and Roger (Lisa) Castle of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Diane Daniels of Paintsville, KY; mother-in-law, Mary June Fanetti; sisters-in-law, Dale Fanetti, Donna Fanetti, and Jo-Ann Gianino; brother-in-law, David Fanetti; and other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and friends.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 PM Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL with Pastor Paul Boyer officiating. Military graveside will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO at 11:30 AM.
