Joan M. Bauchman

Joan M. Bauchman, nee Rasch, 73, of Mascoutah, IL, born Feb. 20, 1938 in Mascoutah, IL, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 at her residence.


Joan was an environmental service manager at the Grange Nursing Home in Mascoutah where she was employed for 34 years.


She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. “Bo” Bauchman whom she married in Mascoutah, IL Nov. 9, 1955 and who died Nov. 17, 2001, a daughter, Janette in infancy, a granddaughter, Jacqueline Bauchman in infancy and her parents, William R. and Bertha C., nee Kraudel, Rasch.


She is survived by three sons, Thomas Bauchman and fiancé Lisa Obermeier of Evansville, IL, Jim (Anne) Bauchman of Dupo, IL, Terry Bauchman of Mascoutah, IL; three daughters, Debra Bauchman of Mascoutah, IL, Nanette (Kenny) Druse of Mascoutah, IL, Barbara Korte of Richmond Heights, MO; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; five brothers, Bill Rasch of Mascoutah, IL, Ben (Carol) Rasch of Mascoutah, IL, Dave (Lynette) Rasch of Imperial, MO, Jerry (Nancy) Rasch of Mascoutah, IL and Kenny Shaw; a sister, Gina (John) Schwartz of Mt. Olive, IL; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation: There will be no visitation.


Funeral: Private graveside services will be held in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
