Marie E. Mills

Marie E. Borg Mills, nee Rury, 85, of Belleville, IL formerly of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 20, 1926 in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at the MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Marie was a snack bar manager at Scott Air Force Base for 17 years and a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Antonia, nee Hribar, Rury; her first husband, Herman J. “Shoner” Borg who died Feb. 11, 1979; and a sister, Shirley Herbeck.


She is survived by her husband Jerry R. Mills whom she married in Belleville, IL in Nov. 1995; three children, Herman (Barbara) Borg of Bloomington, IL, Shirley (Gary) Roustio of Mascoutah, IL, and Robert (Ellie) Borg of Tilden, IL; eight grandchildren, Bob (Katie) Monroe, Bill (Kate) Monroe, Jessy Roustio, Sheryl (Mike) Hansen, Jodie Roustio, Schain Crain, Aleschia Bauer, and David Shain; 10 great-grandchildren, Joe and Owen Monroe, Jackson and Harper Monroe, Sierra and Makenzee Hansen, Jessy and Shyann Roustio, Haylee and Payton Roustio.

Visitation: from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 at Moll Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Feldmann officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
