Lola M. Rehbein

Lola M. Rehbein, nee Roberson, 82, of Mascoutah, IL, born Mar. 1, 1929 in Shiloh Valley Township, IL, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at Terrace on the Park Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.


Lola was a homemaker and worked for the Grange Nursing Home (now known as Terrace on the Park) in Mascoutah, IL.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua and Ethel, nee Cooper, Roberson; her husband, Henry C. Rehbein, Jr. whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on May 9, 1948 and who died Jan. 12, 2006; two sons in infancy; a granddaughter, Julie James; two brothers, Dale and Paul (Blanche) Roberson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Rehbein, Marjorie and William Odem, and Eileen and Wilbur Holcomb.


Surviving are two daughters, Karen James and Patricia Andres both of Belleville, IL; three grandchildren, Richard James of Belleville, IL, Pamela (Kevin) Selwyn of Fort Washington, MD, Cynthia Fink of Belleville, IL; six great-grandchildren, Julia and Nathan Selwyn, Joshua Andres, Brooke Fink, Dustin and Dylan James; a sister, Ruby (Loraine) Yarber of Mascoutah, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald (Zua) Rehbein of Belleville, IL, Carlyn (LaVerne) Rehbein of Mascoutah, IL, Kenneth (Betty) Rehbein of Spanish Lake, MO, Robert (Lois) Rehbein of St. Louis, MO, Allen (Lyla) Rehbein of Trenton, IL; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.


Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 816 W. Church, Mascoutah, IL 62258; Terrace on the Park, 901 N. Tenth, Mascoutah, IL 62258; or Heartlland Hospice, 333 Salem Place, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.


Visitation: from 4 to 9 PM Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL, and from 9 to 10 AM Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Duane Smith officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
