Irmalinda R. Linkter

Irmalinda R. Lintker, nee Wienstroer, 82, of St. Libory, IL, born Nov. 5, 1928 in Johannisburg Twp., IL, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 at her home in St. Libory.


Irma was a homemaker and school teacher. She was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church; St. Liborius Council of Catholic Women; St. Libory American Legion Auxiliary; and Washington County Farm Bureau.


Mrs. Lintker was preceded in death by her husband, Raphael V. Lintker whom she married in Lively Grove, IL on June 6, 1950 and who died Feb. 18, 1989; her parents, Henry and Josephine, nee Behrman, Wienstroer, five brothers, a sister, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harry (Alberta) Wienstroer, Alfred, Joseph, Jerome and Norbert Wienstroer, Elvira (Andrew) Behrman, Peter Jennetten, Henry Kramper, Mary (Leonard) Luechtefeld and Lawrence and Victor Lintker.


She is survived by three sons, David (Louise) Lintker, Charles (Kathy) Lintker and Wayne (Doris) Lintker, all of Venedy, IL; three daughters, Rosemary (Robert) Geroff of Granite City, IL, Linda (Joel) Linder of Addieville, IL and Kathleen (Alan) Frederking of Venedy, IL; 15 grandchildren, Angela Lintker and fiancé David Loy, Alan (Regina) Lintker, Richard and Matthew Lintker, Steve (Diana) Geroff, Ray (Katie) Geroff, Andrea (Scott) Seipp, Kyle (Jessica) Linder, Ryan (Kimberly) Lintker, Jason Lintker, Courtney, Justin and Allyson Lintker and Nicholas and Melissa Frederking; six great grandchildren, Luke and Elijah Lintker, Kannon and Keegan Seipp, and Abigail and Connor Geroff; a brother, Herbert (Lorraine) Wienstroer of Belleville, IL; three sisters, Marie Jennetten of Peoria, IL, Henrietta Kramper of Lively Grove, IL and Betty (Tom) Norrenberns of Mascoutah, IL; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gloria, Annette and Edna Wienstroer, Robert (LaVerne) Lintker, Deacon Andrew (Rosemary) Lintker, Bernadette (Daniel) Jansen and Rita (Don) Otten; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.


Memorials may be given to St. Liborius Cemetery Fund or Family Hospice or in the form of Masses.


Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 PM Tuesday Oct. 25, 2011 and from 7 to 9:45 AM Wednesday, Oct. 26 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.


Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday Oct. 26, 2011 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory with Rev. Dennis Voss officiating. Burial will be in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
