Robert Andrew Bossom, 42, of Siloam Springs, AR, formerly of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 27, 1969 at Scott AFB, IL, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, AR.
Robert was a truck driver for UPS; a former member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church; a 1984 graduate of Holy Childhood Catholic Grade School; and a 1988 graduate of Mascoutah Community High School where he excelled as a baseball pitcher; and was an avid bowler.
He is survived by his father, John Bossom, Jr. of Alexander City, AL; his mother and stepfather, Theresa E. and Lloyd Cauley of Mascoutah, IL; his daughter, Alicia (fiancé Mike Neverdusky) Bossom of Clarksville, TN; his fiancé Candas Rogers of Siloam Springs, AR formerly of Mascoutah; a sister, Kathleen Thompson of Memphis, TN; two brothers, John (Debbie) Bossom III, of Pensacola, FL, and James (Rhonda) Bossom of Disputanta, VA; a stepbrother, Daniel (Cindy) Cauley of Caseyville, IL; a stepsister, Dominique Herbert of San Mateo, CA; eighteen nieces and nephews; eleven great nieces and nephews; and many friends from the Mascoutah area.
Memorials may be made to Holy Childhood Memorial Improvement Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. A prayer service will be held at 4 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: a funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, IL with Father Abraham Adejoh officiating. Interment will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
