H. “Bud” Friederich, 77, of Darmstadt, IL, born Mar. 22, 1934 in Mascoutah, IL, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Bud was a retired farmer; and he also retired from Weyerhauser Paper Co. in Belleville, IL after 37 years. He served in the U. S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard C. and Pearl, nee Haas, Friederich; a sister, Leona Billhartz; and a brother, Richard Friederich.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Lee, nee Meyer, Friederich who he married in Mascoutah, IL on Dec. 26, 1955; six children, Linda (fiancé Merlin Steele) Gann of Marissa, IL, Steve (Janice) Friederich of Lively Grove, IL, Cindy (Robert) McCauley of Marissa, IL, Pam (Alan) Buss of Lively Grove, IL, Mike Friederich and special friend Vikki Barackman of Aviston, IL, and Barb Williams and special friend Todd Schaffner of Marissa, IL; 16 grandchildren, Chris (Dana), Jason (Valerie), Trista, Tiffany, Danny, Timmy, Joey, Stephanie, Ryan, Kayla, Amber (Bobby), Megan, Zach, Jake, Cassie, and Devin; two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Lucas; five sisters and two brothers, Lenora Schulte of Mascoutah, IL, Charlotte (Earl) Haas of Mascoutah, IL, Norma Reinneck of Mascoutah, IL, Cathy Schneider of Collinsville, IL, Charles Friederich of Boise, ID, Sharon Fortune of Mascoutah, IL, and David (Rita) Friederich of Joppa, IL, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends at MarKa Nursing Home.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: Cremation will be held and there will be no other services.
