Ronnie Joe Fowler

Ronnie Joe Fowler, 70, of Mascoutah, IL, formerly of Vacaville, CA, born December 9, 1941 in Des Moines, IA, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at his residence.

Ronnie was a retired SSgt. from the US Air Force and prior to that served three years in the US Army. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Vacaville, CA since 1974; and was a Vietnam War veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Anita, nee Pointer, Fowler.

He is survived by his wife, Lana E., nee Noble, Fowler whom he married in Omaha, NE on Mar. 20, 1959; two daughters, Penney (Clifton “Ward”) Moake of Venedy, IL, and Kelly (Jimmy Steele) Dickey of Fairview Heights, IL; seven grandchildren, Jason (Missy), Johnny, Charles, Christopher, Brian, Michael, and Misty; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry (Jeanne) Fowler of North Carolina.

Visitation: will be from 4 to 8 PM Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

In accordance with Ronnie’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no other services.
