Mary Janet Yedinak

Mary Janet Yedinak, nee Jones, 90, of Mascoutah, IL born Dec. 25, 1921 in Magnet Cove, AR, died April 5, 2012 at MarKa Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.

Mrs. Yedinak was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Mascoutah and very active in the church, especially the choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Yedinak whom she married in Greenwood, MS on Sept. 18, 1943 and who died Feb. 26, 2002, her parents, David H. and Emma Jeannette, nee Holst, Jones and 11 brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her children, Diana (Thomas) Zeisset of Mascoutah, IL, Kathy (Gary) Chick of Newburg, MO, John David (Si Jo) Yedinak of Freeburg, IL; six grandchildren, Andre and Zachary Zeisset, Michael (Jaclyn) Chick, Adam Chick (Tracy Watkins), Tara (Josh) Lauf and John Robert (Tara) Yedinak; nine great-grandchildren, Spencer Zeisset, Mike, Ryan, Jaise, Skyler, Breanna and Abby Chick, Taylor Jo Lauf and John Landon Yedinak.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL, and from 9 to 10 AM Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Bethel United Methodist Church, in Mascoutah, IL, with Pastor Jason Woolever officiating. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
