Larry D. Crumley, 80, of Mascoutah, IL, born Sept. 14, 1931 in Gainesville, GA died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Mr. Crumley retired from the USAF as a TSgt. after 21 years of service and also retired from the U. S. Postal Service after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Letter Carriers Association and a former member of the American Legion Post 292, Mascoutah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Florence, nee Maddox, Crumley, a step-great-grandson, Theo Sweeney, and a sister, Geraldine Dorsey.
Surviving are his wife, Marilou, nee Schanz, Crumley of Mascoutah, IL whom he married in Mascoutah on Nov. 11, 1960, his children, Lauri (Robert) Coates of Mascoutah, IL, Lisa (Stephen) McKenna of Aurora, IL, Larry (Gerri) Crumley II of St. Peters, MO, Lynn (Jeff) Haas of Trenton, IL; two grandchildren, Rachel Maue and Brenndan Crumley; four step-grandchildren, Sherri (Thomas) Maguire, Jamie (Daniel) Sweeney, Kristina and James Metz II; four step-great-grandchildren, Heather, Marina, and Ryan Maguire and Liam Sweeney.

Funeral: Per Larry’s request, a private graveside service will be held with no visitation. The graveside service will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating and full military honors provided by the U. S. Air Force.
