Kenneth N. Klein, 62, of Mascoutah, IL, born Dec. 5, 1946 in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Kenneth was a journeyman carpenter and a retired civil service employee. He was a member of the Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah and a U. S. Army Vietnam War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Helen, nee Schobert, Klein.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, nee Louis, Klein, whom he married in Freeburg, IL, Aug. 29, 1969; a daughter, Jamie (Jeff) Belzer of Belleville, IL; a son, Mike Klein and fiancé, Adrienne May of Fairview Heights, IL; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jaclyn and Joshua Belzer; a brother, Ray (Donna) Klein of Belleville, IL; uncles and aunts, Melvin “Curly” (Ethel) Klein, Dolores (Buddy) Matlach, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, June 18, 2009 and from 7:30 to 9:30 AM Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: a funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday June 19, 2009 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will be in Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL. |
