Florence Mary Heberer, nee Linss, 81 of Mascoutah, IL, born Feb. 15, 1927 in New Athens Township, IL, died May 22, 2008 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Florence was a homemaker, past secretary for Orbon Stove in Belleville, IL, past secretary for many years at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL, and was a skilled seamstress. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah, IL, and a graduate of Freeburg High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Heberer, whom she married in Freeburg, IL on Sept. 15, 1951 and who died July 21, 1981, her parents, Walter J. and Myrtle, nee Gurnsey, Linss, two brothers, Walter and Arthur Linss, and a sister-in-law, Margie Linss.
She is survived by two sons, Dwight (Heini) Heberer of Brownsburg, IN, and Daniel (Mary Jane) Heberer of Shorewood, IL; 6 grandchildren, Ulla (Chris) McClelland of Indianapolis, IN, Lisa (Denver) Bane of Twentynine Palms, CA, Sabrina Heberer of Brownsburg, IN, Danny Heberer and fiancé Laura Graziano of Shorewood, IL, Andy Heberer and Catie Heberer of Shorewood, IL; two great-grandchildren, Lewis McClelland and Sofia Bane; two sisters, Ruth Fournie and Jean Jones both of Tucson, AZ, and a sister-in-law, Opal Linss of Freeburg, IL.

Funeral: funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah, IL with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery. |
