Jeffrey A. Funk, 41, of Freeburg, IL, born Oct. 13, 1968 in Wood River, IL, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at his residence.
Jeffrey was an over the road truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Jane, nee Bullard, Funk; a nephew, Michael Lewis, Jr.; a half-brother, Jerry Lockhart; and a half-sister, Marlene Lockhart.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, nee Musgrave, Funk; two daughters, Kayla Funk of Mascoutah, IL, and Ashlee (Alan) Emig of Mascoutah, IL; a son, Dakota Funk of Tilden, IL; a grandson, Michael Alan Emig of Mascoutah, IL; a brother, Randall (Karen) Funk of Albers, IL; a sister, Paula (Kevin) Kelly of Sole, South Korea; a half-brother, Randy (Claudia) Johnson of Sapulpa, OK; five half-sisters, Connie (Tom) Brazzell of Rushville, IN, Beverly (James) Short of Marion, IL, Rachel (Jeff) Bird of Stone Mountain, GA, Tricia Burrell of Atlanta, GA, and Kimberly McGlaughlan of Cape Coral, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ Senior Youth Fellowship, 11 N. Railway, New Baden, IL 62265.
Visitation: There will be no visitation.
Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 5:30 PM Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Zion United Church of Christ, New Baden, IL with Rev. Gretchen Sterrett officiating. |
