William A. Dakin, 70, of Mascoutah, IL, born Oct. 17, 1937 in Ullin, IL, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL.
He was a retired machine operator from Ralcorp and served in the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edith, nee Berry, Dakin, and a sister Dorothy Bernier.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice I., nee Gramm, Dakin; a stepdaughter, Carol (Gene) Haas of Belleville, IL; two step-grandchildren, Patrick Haas of O’Fallon, IL, and Shelley (Darren) Rutmanis of Belleville, IL; four step-great grandchildren, David, McKenna, McKenzie, and Hunter Haas; three brothers, five sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL,
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Moll Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Woolever officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Mascoutah City Cemetery following cremation. |
