Delores F. “Dolly” Buss, nee Hummert, 87, of St. Libory, IL, born July 26, 1922 in
Fayetteville, IL, died Tuesday, Apr. 20, 2010 at the Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL.
Delores was a homemaker, a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory; the Rosary Sodality; C. K. & L. of I.; and West End Homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lenus F. Buss whom she married in Fayetteville, IL on Nov. 18, 1941 and he died Oct. 17, 2006; her parents, Henry and Frances Hummert; and brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three children, Leslie (Sandy) Buss of Spartanburg, SC, Mary (Mike) Reed of Lively Grove, IL, and Gary (Gayle) Buss of St. Libory, IL; eight grandchildren, Denise (Steve) Tree, Chris (Kim) Buss, Dawn Reed, Brad (Jamie) Buss, Brent, Lauren, Brian, and Brandon Buss; and four great-grandchildren, Kayla Buss, Laurel, Megan, and Michael Tree.
Memorials may be made to St. Liborius Church, or in the form of masses.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 PM, Friday, Apr. 23, 2010 at the Moll Funeral Home in St. Libory, IL. There will be a prayer service at 4:00 PM
Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: A funeral mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, Apr. 24, 2010 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory with Rev. Dennis Voss officiating. Burial will be in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery in St. Libory, IL. |
