Eleanor M. Brendel, 91, born in Mascoutah, IL, died May 14, 2008 in Atlanta, GA.
Eleanor was a former member of St. Ann’s Altar Sodality of Holy Childhood Church in Mascoutah, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril J. Brendel; grandson, Todd Brendel; four brothers, Albert Jr., Raymond, Edward and Bernard Hulliung, and a sister, Leona Walter.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert Brendel of Marietta, GA and Donald Brendel of San Francisco, CA; daughters-in-law, Marty Brendel of Marietta, GA, and Carrie Brendel of Palm Harbor, FL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Holy Childhood Memorial Improvement Fund.
Funeral: A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives an hour before the mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery. |
