Joshua Anthony Cheek, 22, of McPherson, KS formerly of Mascoutah, IL, born Oct. 8, 1989 in Belleville, IL, died Monday, June 11, 2012 at his residence in McPherson, KS.

Joshua worked for Johns Manville in McPherson, KS and was a 2009 graduate of Mascoutah Community High School.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Tony Kinder; his paternal grandfather, Wayne Cheek; and a cousin, Eric Ballard.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Brooke, nee Kinder, (Doug) Mueth of Mascoutah, IL;  his father, David Cheek of Belleville, IL; three brothers, Justin (Ashley Harris) Cheek of O’Fallon, IL, Sam and Adam Mueth of Mascoutah, IL; a niece, Elsie Cheek, and two nephews, Brody and Able Cheek; maternal grandmother, Jackie Bridgeman of Potosi, MO; paternal grandmother, Cathy Schneider of Belleville, IL; two uncles, Joe Cheek of McPherson, KS, and Dan Cheek of Belleville, IL; two cousins, Gage and Taylor Cheek of McPherson, KS; other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation:  will be held from 4 to 8 PM Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral:  funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Moll Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
